The
CD Jukebox uses three motors and a solenoid. There is a
vertical, horizontal, and forward/backward movement. Each of the
three motors is needed to maneuver the CD into the CD player and back
to the rack. The "end effector" of the jukebox is a lever that
uses a solenoid to "grab" the middle of the CD after it is
positioned. On each of the "axes" there is a touch sensor that
sends input to the software of the project that tells the software
where one of the axes is at the current moment.
